Who is Tommy J. McGuffey, Jr.?

Born and raised in our community

Tommy is a product of Dayton Public Schools, local churches, and community centers. His life’s work is rooted in service — not politics.

Public Servant. Community Advocate. Educator.

With over a decade of experience in government, education, and nonprofit leadership, Tommy has worked with AmeriCorps, United Way, and the Boys & Girls Club — and most recently served as Economic Development Coordinator for Jefferson Township.

Push for local job creation, workforce training, and equitable development
Fight against displacement and ensure affordable housing for all
